I have a
passion for teaching and feel I am so lucky to teach. I consider
myself a lifelong learner and love to try new things.
I love to travel with my husband and three little girls.
I volunteer with the Girl Scouts of America and am an avid
reader.
When my students leave my class, I hope they understand the value and place of
science in everyday life. I hope they
will be more responsible and discriminatory consumers, and independent thinkers
that make informed choices designed to increase the quality of life for
themselves and their communities.
I believe part of my job is to instill responsibility;
therefore, any materials missed due to absence is the responsibility of the
student to obtain. Extra credit
will be offered in the form of At-Home projects/assignments once every nine
weeks and should be taken as serious opportunities.
Last minute extra credit will not be given.
Assignments not turned in within 3 days will be assigned a zero.
