After graduating in 1989 from Northeast High School, I attended The University
of West Alabama (Livingston University when I attended) and I graduated cum
laude in 1993. While attending UWA,
I was actively involved in the newspaper, yearbook, and student government.
Plus, I was the first president of the education honor society.
After that, I taught ten years at Bonita Educational Center before coming
back home to Northeast. Currently,
I am the English Department chairperson.
