I am married to Mr. Charlie Orum, Sr. I have 3 beautiful children, Charlie Orum, Jr. age 27, Rickey Dewayne Orum age 26, and Artina Joliet Eshontee Orum age 24. The youngest is in college at Alabama. I enjoy reading, exercise, working in my yard, dancing, listening to music, watching football games, coaching track and hanging out with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Sisters. I have a daughter-in-law, Kimberly Yvette Orum and a granddaughter Kembre. My oldest son is serving in the military stationed in Afghanistan.

I have a favorite saying and something that I live by each day. A person should never say can’t or believe they cannot accomplish goals. Always remember to put God first and everything else will fall into place. My students are inspired to do their best because I realize that I am some students’ only hope. Children do just what you expect them to do. I feel us as teachers should all be responsible for how we teach. I will show love and patience because each child is unique and different. I will contribute my ability to motivate children to this education program.
