Northeast Middle School - Start of School Letter

NEMS Students:

Hello! I hope this letter finds you well and having a great summer.  Just a few notes about the start of school this year:

• Students will return to school on Friday, August 6th

• School hours:  M, T, Th, F - 7:55-3:07  Wednesdays 7:55-1:30

• Tops must be red, white, or gray - no lettering unless a Northeast logo

• Bottoms must be khaki or black

• Coats and jackets must be solid red, white, gray, black, or khaki in color or a combination of school colors (which are red, white, and gray).  Call before buying if you have any questions.

Schedules can be picked-up the first day of school at stations setup in the bus line and car line.  Each station will have the schedules organized according to grade and alphabetically.  No students will enter the building until 7:55 unless you are going to cafeteria to eat breakfast.

All 5th grade students will pick-up their schedules outside before they enter the gym at 7:55 for orientation.  5th grade parents are welcome to stay and escort their child to class the first day of school after orientation.

No cell phones or electronic devices please.
